Pack leadership
The Cubmaster runs pack meetings; den leaders run everything at the grade level. These are the people your Scout actually sees.
Pack committee
The committee handles registration, money, advancement records, rechartering and the logistics behind every event — so den leaders can spend their time with the Scouts.

We have open roles — and they're smaller than they sound
Right now we're looking for an Assistant Cubmaster, a Lion den leader for our incoming kindergarteners, and assistant den leaders across the pack. Training is free, online, and takes an evening. Nobody is thrown in without support.

About the pack
Pack 223 is chartered in Lafayette, California and meets at Happy Valley Elementary School. We are part of the Briones District of the Golden Gate Area Council, Scouting America.
The pack is open to boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade, from Happy Valley and from anywhere else in the area. Scouting America is open to all youth, and financial assistance is available to any family who needs it — ask the committee chair or the treasurer, and it goes no further.
